We're proud to announce the addition of director Sofia Garza-Barba to our skilled team of Music Video and Commercial directors. A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Sofia is a dreamer and creator who successfully injects surreal images and inventive ideas into her work. Using a fantastic mixture of artistic materials and stop-motion animation, Sofia leads viewers into a fairy-tale world of vivid imagery and profound imagination.
Sofia is a two-time winner of the Festival Pantalla de Cristal's Best Music Video Director Award (2007, 2008). She has also been nominated for numerous music video awards, including Best Editor and Best Music Video, amongst others. Sofia has directed a number of amazing music videos and her reel will soon be available for viewing on our site. In addition to her music videos, Sofia is also the director and editor of Trece:Veinte, an online interactive magazine that focuses on film, music, and art. Everyone here is very excited about Sofia's arrival and about working with her in the future. Welcome, Sofia!
